Welcome to Camp Muskoka Outdoor Education Leadership Centre
A Camp Muskoka school trip offers students a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with exciting activities, lasting memories, and stronger connections with their classmates. With over 100,000 Ontario students having participated in our day and overnight programs, we confidently promise that this will be one of your students’ most memorable school experiences.
The Adventure...
Part of what makes the Camp Muskoka experience so special is the chance for students to share a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment with the classmates they see every day—only now, they’re building bonds and growing together in a whole new way. Over several days, our nurturing staff lead students through a variety of community-building, teamwork, and recreational activities designed to bring out the best in everyone.
Each school’s coordinating teacher, along with their colleagues and principal, will help tailor the program by selecting activities that reflect the unique goals and needs of their school community. Whether students are learning archery, or build survival fires and shelters, taking on our 'Survival Challenge,' or soaring through the treetops on our 900-foot zip line, every customized itinerary is packed with fun, adventure, and the makings of unforgettable memories.

The good times are just the beginning…
Beyond all the fun and exciting activities lies a deeper purpose: a program designed to nurture each student’s unique strengths while fostering teamwork, communication, trust, understanding, and resilience—skills that stay with them long after the trip is over.

It takes a village to raise a child...
It’s often said that “it takes a village to raise a child”—a belief we hold deeply and take to heart. Every element of the Camp Muskoka experience is intentionally crafted to support this shared responsibility: from the thoughtful design of our facilities and curriculum-aligned programming to the personal growth opportunities we offer and the caring, dedicated staff who bring it all to life. A key part of our mission is to give students the chance to live, share, and thrive within a kind, supportive community—one that celebrates teamwork and accomplishes great things together, starting the moment they step off the bus.

The Great Equalizer
For over two decades, we’ve been helping school communities reinforce lasting cultures of kindness, inclusion, and connection. During the Camp Muskoka experience, students strengthen bonds with their peers and come to understand that we have more in common than we think. They learn that through teamwork and collaboration, great things are possible. Our Outdoor Education Instructors and our program brings all of this to life—and so much more.

Food - its got to be YUM!
Food has always been a cornerstone of community—and mealtimes at Camp Muskoka are no exception. While students participate cooperatively during meals, the hard work is handled by our professional food service team, led by our Executive Chef. With a focus on fresh, nutritious, and kid-approved meals that follow Canada’s Food Guide, we serve three hearty meals a day—plus snacks—with second helpings always available to keep energy levels high for outdoor adventures.
We’re proud to accommodate most dietary needs, with vegetarian, vegan, and Halal options available upon request through the registration form. Camp Muskoka is also a nut-safe facility. Our goal is simple: to ensure every student is well-fed, included, and able to fully participate—because teamwork and cooperation thrive best when no one is hungry.

Accommodations - The ultimate slumber party

Safety and Emergency Preparedness Planning
At Camp Muskoka, safety is always our top priority. From the thoughtful design of our facilities and program areas to the selection, screening, and training of our staff, every aspect of the experience is built with student well-being in mind. In addition to being closely supervised, students are introduced to key safety practices, including emergency fire procedures, situational awareness, and concussion awareness protocols—ensuring they feel confident, prepared, and supported throughout their stay.
