At Camp Muskoka, we believe in the magic of the camp experience: sharing of a community environment, helping campers develop new skills, self-esteem and leadership abilities, all while exploring the wonders of nature. A truly incredible summer vacation! Another important aspect of Camp Muskoka is encouraging new friendships, which start from the moment our campers arrive. Every camper is placed into their cabin group and teamed up with new friends. Together these cabin mates will share the Camp Muskoka experience. |

•an optional morning activity such as a swim, field game, morning run or yoga. |
2:00 pm third program period |
| Throughout their stay, campers have over 50 activities to choose from with a variety of options offered every program period. There are always passive, active and adventurous levels of activity. Programs are offered both in small intimate groups and as large group activities. Campers may experience something new, engage in one of our specialty programs (please see Specialty Programs page 12) or participate in more of their favorite programs. By offering our campers the opportunity to choose their own activities, each camper personally custom designs their own camp experience. | ![]() |
As a grand finale to each 2 week session,
exciting themed activities and events will take place, including a ‘Jam Night’, ‘Talent Showcases’, water balloon games, a formal dinner and a ‘Karaoke Dance Party’.
Community Living is a key component to the success of the Camp Muskoka experience. Teaching children the value of a “we” society as opposed to a “me” society is another
initiative we strive for. “Many hands make light work” - campers will work together in community initiatives such as cabin clean up, serving meals, helping to tidy-up the dining hall after meals and setting up for special
events. Campers returning year after year will enjoy continued skill development and expanded programming, presenting campers with the opportunity to reach higher skill and achievement levels. For older campers, programs focus more on acquiring leadership and life skills, opening up future opportunities as leaders and counselors (please see Leader-in-Training Program). |
