Guests of Camp Muskoka enjoy the comforts of Cougar Lodge. Cougar Lodge is a spacious, comfortable modern building fully equipped with running water, electricity, forced air heat and air conditioning. Built in 2001, Cougar Lodge is a 5,500 square foot log building appointed with 4 large rooms. Each room is furnished with 10 sets of bunk beds to accommodate up to 20 students. Within each cabin room is a separate, smaller bedroom equipped with an additional 2 sets of bunk beds to accommodate up to 4 teacher-chaperones. This offers both students and adults privacy, while enabling the adults to be immediately available to any student’s needs. The main washrooms and shower facilities are located in Pine Hall, however, there are washrooms in Cougar Lodge for those “middle-of-the-night” trips. In total, Cougar Lodge can house up to 96 guests year round. With the additional use of seasonal buildings in the months of September, October, May and June, Camp Muskoka can accommodate up to 152 guests in early autumn and late spring.
